Limited Capacity seats available

You know you need to prepare your students for online learning readiness to improve their chances for success. You know it needs to be engaging to the student without being overwhelming but you are pressed to find both of these together. Learn how you can use this free program to prepare your students and parents for the online learning experience.

A Look at Wireless Problems and Solutions for Schools
Limited Capacity seats available

This enlightening presentation will dissect common problems we have encountered with the various school districts we work with across the state of Texas. We will share what we have been doing to solve these problems. Because of BYOD, there is an influx of wireless devices and an increased need for coverage and capacity. Too often, schools do not realize that they haven't fully optimized their configurations. In this presentation, we address all of these issues as well as give our recommendations for BYOD provisioning and authentication. We will close by showing you what the manufacturers aren't telling you about 802.11ac and why you should wait. Help your school to make educated decisions by becoming informed on the changing trends in wireless.

Founded by the guys that founded Compaq Computers back in 1992, Insource has been helping schools of all sizes implement successful BYOD projects for nearly 20 years.

QRazy about Codes: QR Codes in the Classroom
Limited Capacity seats available

Quick Response codes (known as QR Codes or QR Tags) are advanced barcodes that are readable by smartphones and other devices such as iPods with cameras, etc. Unlike traditional barcodes that can contain only a few characters, QR Codes can contain over 4000 characters. Combined with mobile technology, this makes them perfect for displaying large amounts of text, creating links to websites, shortcuts to send pre-populated emails or text messages, links to iTunes, Google Maps, etc. On that basis, participants of this session will learn how to structure lessons using QR codes in activities such as multiple choice instant feedback, scavenger hunt test reviews, self-check flash cards, guided practice help, choose your own adventures, and more. Moreover, students can easily create their own QR codes for reflection, assessment, share-pair reviews, and more.
